This project examines the partition of India in 1947, which led to the creation of India and Pakistan. It explores the political, religious, and social factors behind the division, as well as educating myself on my family's history when they were living in India at the time. The project also covers the violence, mass migration, and humanitarian crisis that followed the partition, along with its long-term impact on both countries, including ongoing political tensions and conflicts.
